Clomid is a drug that stimulates ovulation. Its generic brand name is Clomiphene. It is a non-steroidal drug used for reproducing hormones that trigger ovulation. It is usually used for the treatment of PCOD (Polycystic ovary syndrome), as well as the other diseases.

How it acts?

This drug acts by changing certain hormones in the human organism. It makes the pituitary gland increase the release of certain hormones necessary for the stimulation of ovulation. During the releasing of these hormones the mature egg grows faster. When this happens, it enhances the chance of fertility in women.
