Drug Description

Flovent is a drug, mainly used for the treatment of asthma. It acts by preventing certain body chemicals to release compounds leading to the inflammation.

Flovent relieves the common symptoms of asthma. This drug is used not to treat asthma, but only to reduce the number of asthma attacks. Remember that the drug must not be used during the asthma attack, as its mechanism is not quick enough to treat the symptom when it happens. However, you should use it regularly as a treatment course to cut down the frequency of asthma attacks and relieve its symptoms such as inflammation. Decreasing the rate of inflammation in throat and airways, this drug makes breathing easier. Moreover, it is used to prevent certain pulmonary diseases and bronchitis.
