Description

The Auyrvedic plant drug Pilex is used for the treatment of varicose veins, thrombophlebitis, hemorrhoids, proctitis and anal fissure.
The active components of Pilex reduce and prevent the lymph nodes, have a healthy effect on the veins, improves blood circulation, strengthens the walls of veins, relieve inflammation and swelling and reduce the pressure in the liver venous system. Pilex relieves pain in varices, inflammation and thrombophlebitis.
Pilex has an anti-inflammatory effect on the lymph nodes, improves the blood circulation, reduces the level of cholesterol, removes unpleasant feelings, itching and pain, relieves colon inflammation and hemorrhoids and normalizes the bowel movement.

Indications for use

Varicose veins (changes in veins, characterized by the unequal increase of their clearance with the formation of wall protrusion due to the damage of the valvular apparatus); thrombophlebitis (inflammatory process that causes a blood clot to form and block veins); hemorrhoids (swelling and inflammation of colon veins); anal fissure; proctitis (inflammation of rectal mucosa).

Way of use

  • Take two pills twice a day for 7 days. In the acute stage, the dosage can be increased to 3 pills at a time 3 times a day.
  • After the intensive week- long course, the dosage is reduced to one pill twice a day. Such course lasts four to six weeks.
  • Anyway, follow the doctor’s recommendations.

Contraindications

Individual intolerance to certain drug components.
No chance of releasing some substances negatively affecting the child through the breast milk has been detected. Pilex can be used during the breastfeeding, if according to the doctor the benefit for the mother supersedes a potential risk for the child.
Consult the doctor before using any drug if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding woman.

Side effects

Allergic reactions are possible. Rarely – dyspepsia (sickness, vomiting and diarrhea) that quickly disappear after the end of the treatment.
If you note any side effects indicated in the instructions (or the other), inform the doctor about it.
Active substances: Commiphora Wightii, Azadirachta Indica, Mumijo, Berberis Aristata , Emblica Officinalis, Terminalia Chebula, Terminalia Bellirica, Cassia Fistula, Bauhinia Variegata, Mesua Ferrea.
