Prazosin is a drug available in pills. Its main active substance is prazosin. The drug performs the function of alfa blocker, and its principle is based on blocking the sensitivity of alfa-adrenoreceptors of bladder, its neck and urethra. This drug is used for the treatment of prostatic adenoma (benign tumor). The result of taking this drug by the patients is an improvement in urination dynamics and a reduction of inflammation of prostatic gland. Therefore, the patients don’t feel pain or discomfort.
