Description

Viagra is a drug that is used for the treatment and prevention of erectile dysfunction. Erectile dysfunction is the condition when a man begins to decline the quality of erections and it becomes impossible to conduct sexual intercourse. Most often such problems begin to pursue men after 40 years. However, in some cases, this problem affects more young men. According to studies and surveys, more than 53% of men from 40 to 75 years have problems with erection. The problem is real and fairly widespread. Method of application

Side effects

The drug is well tolerated. In some cases, there were noticed side effects:

  • Organs of gastrointestinal tract (nausea, diarrhea, dyspepsia)

  • Organs of the respiratory system (respiratory distress, pharyngitis, sinusitis, rhinitis, nasal congestion, respiratory tract infection)
  • Urogenital system (disorder of the functioning of the prostate gland, infections of the urinary channels)

Other noted side effects were flu-like symptoms, back pain or stomachache. Rarely there were cases of priapism.

Drinking of alcohol while taking Viagra is undesirable.

Drug contraindications

The drug should not be taken in case of elevated individual sensitivity to sildenafil. It is not prescribed simultaneously with the donators of nitrogen oxide, organic nitrates and nitrites (potentiating of anti-hypertensive effect). It is also not prescribed to persons under 18 years and to women.

Side effects

In rare cases the drug may cause headache, flushes, dizziness, reversible disorders of vision, palpitations, dyspepsia and rhinitis, and the development of allergic reactions.
