Applications are currently open for the UPG Sustainability Leadership Class of 2024. The UPG Sustainability Leadership Program is a movement that mobilizes individuals and organizations to champion positive citizen leadership on sustainability. It encourages and empowers citizens at all levels to take affirmative action, inspired by UPG’s commitment to proactively utilize available resources rather than wait for others to act. This movement embodies the belief that everyone has the capacity to contribute to making the world more sustainable.
UPG firmly believes that sustainability encompasses not only traditional “green” issues like tree planting, waste recycling, energy management, and ocean protection but also broader societal concerns such as education, health, employment, gender equality, sustainable consumption, sustainable production, and more. Familiar with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), UPG utilizes them as a guiding framework. The cornerstone of UPG’s initiatives is the UPG Sustainability Leadership training program, catering to over 500 young adults worldwide annually.
